About Daniela

Daniela Celella is a native of Florence, Italy. She first arrived in the U.S at the age of 5 where together with her family, she settled in Astoria, Queens (NY). She completed her studies in NY while visiting Italy regularly on her time off from school. As a direct result of experiencing both cultures first hand, Daniela is well connected and bonded to both countries. For many years, Daniela served as an E.S.L tutor in NYC teaching English to High School students. She is affiliated with several Italian American organizations such as the Italian Americans for a Better Government, The Order of the Sons of Italy in America, and the Columbus Citizens Foundation, and as such she is an active voice in the quest to preserve Italian American traditions, culture, history and heritage. After a five year stint at Radio ICN New York in a similar role, Daniela went on to Radio Zenith Messina 100.9FM/98.9 FM as director, producer and host of an Italian radio program "Con Daniela". The success she has achieved over the years in this role has led her to host several high profile events such as "Il Volo" at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut and the prestigious "NY Italian Music Festival" on Broadway. In 2020, Daniela became the host of Radio Fantastica RMB, where she reached more than 150,000 listeners daily. Currently, Daniela is host to Radio Flash and brings the beloved Italian radio to thousands of listeners along New York wavelengths every Friday and Sunday. In 2022, Daniela received the Josie Music Awards Broadcast of the year 2022, held at the iconic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN. Off Air, Daniela continues to collaborate with a variety of musical organizations including the Indie Collaborative, Nuove Energie Musicali (NEM), and the Music Indie Contest in which she has taken on the role of judge and talent scout since 2019. Married to Dr. Stephen Celella, Daniela is a professional electrologist and a laser certified specialist. She resides in Long Beach, NY and is mother to two daughters--Alessia and Lorella.

Daniela Celella nasce a Firenze (Italia). Arriva per la prima volta negli Stati Uniti D'America alla tenera eta' di 5 anni dove, assiema alla famiglia, si stabilisce in Astoria, Queens (NY). Completa i suoi studi a NY continuando pero' a coltivare un legame speciale con la madre patria con delle visite frequenti durante la pausa scolastica; cio' rafforza in Daniela la conoscenza e l'amore per le due culture. Daniela e' stata per diversi anni tutor di lingua inglese in vari istituti a New York. E' molto attiva nella comunita' italo-americana ed ha svariate affiliazioni ad organizzazioni del calibro di Italian Americans for Better Government, Order of the Sons of Italy in America, e la Columbus Citizens Foundation per citarne alcune. Di conseguenza, Daniela crede fortemente nel preservare le tradizioni, la cultura, la storia e il patrimonio Italo-Americano. Dope aver trascorso 5 anni a Radio ICN New York in un simile ruolo, Daniela e' attualmente direttrice, produttrice e annuncaitrice di un programma radio in italiano su Radio Zenith Messina 100.9 FM/ 98.9 FM dal titolo "Con Daniela". Il successo ottenuto in questi anni, l'hanno portata a presentare diversi spettacoli di elevato prestigio tra questi "Il Volo" nel Foxwood Casino del CT e la prestigiosa kermessa musicala italiana "NY Italian Music Festival" di Broadway. Agosto 2020 nel pieno della pandemia Daniela si trasfericsce su Radio Fantastica RMB emittente che raggiunge piu’ di 150.000 ascoltatori ogni giorno. Fecendosi strada tra le fila della radio attualmente Daniela conduce un programma sulle onde di Radio Flash New York dove ogni venerdi’ e domenica continua a raggiungere miglia di ascoltatori in FM/Streaming/ DAB APP…

Off air, Daniela continua a collaborare con diverse organizzazioni musicali Americane rinomate che includono Indie Collaborative, (NEM) Nuove Energie Musicali, Music Inidie Contest dove dal 2019 veste anche il ruolo di giudice e talent scout.

Nel 2022 viene nominata e vince il premio JMA Radio Broadcast of the Year a Nashville TN sul palco iconico di Grand Ole Opry La Casa della Musica Americana.

Sposata con dott. Stephen Celella, Daniela e’ elettrologa professionale e specialista in laser d’estetica general e medica. Risiede a Long Beach (NY) ed e’ madre di Alessia e Lorella.
